3G Artificial Grass Football Pitch (with Floodlighting)

DESCRIPTION

A state-of-the-art, floodlit, 3G artificial grass pitch with spectator area (built 2019).
Guaranteeing a smooth and suitable playing surface in all weathers, this pitch additionally benefits from shock absorbent underlay and better grip promoting less risk of slipping and impact injuries than a standard grass pitch.

SUITABLE USES

This 3G pitch is FA approved for competitive league fixtures and is available for full pitch, half pitch and 1/3 pitch hire.

RESTRICTIONS

• Not available for hire during the school day
• Closed Bank Holidays and 24 December to 2 January inclusive
• 3G Pitch Footwear Rules apply (please read carefully below)

3G PITCH FOOTWEAR RULES

Permitted:
• Moulded Circular Multi-Stud Boots – preferred
• 3G / Astro Training Shoes with a Dimpled Sole

Prohibited:
• Boots with Plastic Blades – restricted rotational movement
• Boots with Metal Studs or Metal Blades – damage the 3G surface
• Training Shoes / Trainers with flat sole – flatten the surface, insufficient grip

Clean Footwear Only:
All footwear must be ‘spotlessly’ clean before entering the pitch area
• Topsoil / clay / grass cause contamination and long term maintenance issues
• Unclean boots will need to be cleaned before use on the 3G surface
